  • The University of Ohio Online MBA program does not require applicants to take the GMAT for admission into the program, which is unlike many other online MBA programs.
  • In order to apply, you must have at least a 3.0 GPA from a regionally accredited undergraduate school and two to five years of professional experience.
  • When putting in your application, you must also submit your resume, goals statement, and three recommendations.
  • The application fee is $50 and increases to $55 for international students. You must pay your application fee at the time of application.   • For this program, no transfer credits are allowed and will not count towards your MBA from the University of Ohio. This is specific to this program. You will have to contact the school if you are interested in other programs and have transfer credits.
  • The program consists of 35 credit hours. It takes approximately 6 semesters to complete if you take around 5-6 credits per term.
  • A semester is two 7 week periods, for a total of 14 weeks. For this specific program, you are taking one class per 7 week term.
  • You have the option of choosing a concentration in this program as well. The concentrations you can choose from are Health Care, Executive Management, Finance, and Business Analytics.
  • While the bulk of the program is completely online, all students are required to attend one on campus workshop. It is a weekend workshop and typically lasts from Friday until Sunday.
  • The workshop is called the Professional Development Workshop. While you are required to attend one, you have the option of attending two more throughout the course of the program if you wish to do so.
  • There are no prerequisites for this program. However, previous work experience is taken into consideration and is required, as previously noted with the application requirements.
  • The coursework for the program is application based. That means that instead of simply learning concepts, you will learn them and then put them into practice in real life scenarios. This is so you are better prepared to use the applications after you have graduated and are better prepared for the professional world.
  • Professors for this program also teach on campus. This means that the same quality of teaching is given both on campus and online. You will get the same education whether you decide to participate in the online MBA or in the classroom.

  • Tuition rates cover all of your credit hours. It also covers the hotel and meals that are provided for the weekend workshop that is required as part of the program.
  • The tuition rates do not cover any books, software programs, equipment, or other various items. You will need to plan ahead for these expenses when looking at your budget.
