  • The online MBA program offered by Drexel University Online MBA is an accelerated program. It is also the only online MBA program in the state of Pennsylvania to reach the top 15 in rankings.
  • This program takes place of 24 months and is a part time program. There is also a flex option where you can take up to 48 months to complete the program.
  • Each student is placed in a cohort and they go together through the program. This is a good way to assist the students in creating a community that they can rely on through the course of the program. Each cohort consists of 25-30 students.
  • There are several concentrations you can choose from for the program. These concentrations include Business Analytics, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Healthcare.
  • Although the program is completely online, you are required to complete one on campus residency. The residency consists of four day intensive courses. They are exclusive to this degree program. This residency is required so that they can include a component that stresses the social importance of the degree.
  • You have the option to take part in a second international residency which will further the social importance again as well as the global aspect of the MBA program.
  • There are four core foundation courses that each student is required to take. These courses are Financial Performing of the Firm – Accounting, Financial Importance of the Firm – Finance, Essentials of Economics I and Essentials of Economics II.
  • The core curriculum is composed of nine courses. These courses are as follows: Managerial Accounting, Managerial Economics, Corporate Financial Management, Managing the Total Enterprise, Managing Technology Innovation, Marketing Strategy & Planning, Leadership and Professional Development, Operations Management, and Business Statistics.
  • There is a flexible core sequence once you finish with the core classes. You will chose from the available classes in each section.

  • To apply for the program, you must have a degree from a four year accredited university. You must also have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Your official transcripts must be sent to the school from your undergraduate school.
  • To apply for the program, you undergraduate degree does not have to be business based. It can be of any concentration. You will be taught the business basics during the program so you will be caught up to speed in no time.
  • You must submit two letters of recommendation. These should be based on your professional experience and academic potential.
  • You must submit your up to date resume as well. This is to show your professional experience in the real world.
  • You will be required to submit an essay that is at least 500 words in length. The essay topic will be given to you when you apply.
  • Your GMAT or GRE scores are required for the application of this program. Your GMAT score must be at least 570. If you submit your GRE scores, you must have at least a score of 153 in both the verbal portion and the quantitative portion.
  • If you took the old GRE test, you will need to have at least a score of 1170. This is one of the few schools that will still accept the old GRE test scores.
  • If you are an international student applying for the program, you must also submit your TOEFL. This is a requirement that is used to show how fluent you are in the English language.   • For the 2020-21 academic year, the current tuition is about $72,000. This does not include the price of extra fees, books, and other various costs. This amount is subject to change every year so you will need to check with the University for the current tuition rates if you are applying after this specific academic year.
  • This program is eligible for financial aid. You can apply for financial aid by submitting your FASFA each year. There are also scholarships and grants you can apply for to help pay for the program.
